Yes, you are stating the obvious. Family Guy has never been good, though it was at one point tolerable. It has a few laughs, but then every show with 100+ episodes is guranteed to have a laugh or two. Though, really, South Park is way worse than Family Guy could ever dream to be -- South Park is one interesting, funny concept beat to death during the course of an episode until it's not the least bit funny. South Park is EASILY the most annoying show ever. And Trey and Matt fucking suck, anything they touch turns to shit, though Orgazmo is pretty good.
If South Park is the most annoying show ever, then American Dad is the worst show I've EVER seen in my life, EVER. I don't know a single person who likes it -- which makes me wonder who's still watching it. "The Simpsons sucks"... Again, stating the obvious -- it hasn't been good for about 10 seasons now. King of the Hill has never been hilarious, but it's been pretty consistent for its duration, if a bit boring. Still shocking how GREAT the first season of it was.. it turned into a completely different show! Adult Swim sucks, just bored people with computers making bullshit for stoners; and they don't even show their best shows (12 Oz Mouse, Super Milk Chan, or the GOOD anime) on there anymore. Really, I'm not a Futurama fan boy by any stretch of the imagination, but that was the last half-way decent animated show since The Simpsons jumped the shark. |

Right, I don't think Futurama was funny -- clever but not hilarious... however, it did have something missing from all these other animated shows and all the movies coming out nowadays.. actually, pretty much everything being made that breaks into the mainstream... it had HEART.

Ha ha, I guess I'm the only here who loves Family Guy. I can still re-watch old episodes and find them hilarious. I haven't seen a episode of South Park in a long while, so can't really comment on what that's like now.

that's a remarkable one & that was a funny part for sure...notable in that Garrison becomes a mister again...but mostly funny for the Cartman story as Mr. Cartmanez though...watch online http://www.southparkstudios.com/sear...&type=episodes “Just before the last Super Bowl, Bill Belichick gathered his football players and said, 'Let’s win this one for real… Just this one time.. Let’s not cheat.' You know what happened? They lost. If you give up on cheating...even when the whole world is watching, you can lose the biggest game of your life." How do I reach these keeydz? fuckin' classic (it's an outlet for my ire at pats haha, those evil geniuses) |

I liked Family Guy for it's first few seasons, now it's just a bunch of liberal jibberish. Like the episode where they have to leave Quahog because the town thinks Stewie is possesed by the devil, & they go to Texas to seek refuge. It's basically Brian telling them that ALL Texans are sterotypical southern rednecks, which is false.
In the episode, Brian goes to a liquor store to buy a bottle of something or other, & the clerk hands him a gun, he asks what's it for, & the clerk states that it's his free gun & that it's Texas state law. Brian says this place sucks worse than the WNBA, clearly showing he's for gun control. Well guess what "Brian", a.k.a Seth Macfarlane, the Nazi's enstated gun control for it's people, & look what happened. But that's beside the point of this thread. So all in all, The Simpsons, Futurama, & South Park are much better than Family Guy.

I'm with you. The Simpsons it's Ok now. However I haven't watched any of it recently. Futurama was a good show. I still find it funny. Now South Park and American Dad, that shit is just shite. |

South Park is "sophisticated"? It takes them 5 days to do an episode, which is always just one joke being beaten to death in the most annoying way possible. I won't deny Trey and Matt are pretty clever -- they just don't know how to make a good show. No one on South Park is likeable. Just a bad show in every way.
The Critic was fucking awesome, by the way! Too bad it didn't last very long, and the webisodes were shitty. |

Family Guy is a bunch of stoned idiots going, "Man, wouldn't it be funny if Skeletor randomly popped up in this scene and went 'SHOW ME THE MONEY'? HAHAHA."
It's just too smug to be clever, too self-referential to be funny, too cliché to be interesting, too heartless to be watchable. Just a bad show from every angle. The only character I like is Brian... seriously one of the worst casts in the history of television. |
