ONE MORE THING, since I am pretty sure there is only a few copies left, if anyone here is into robe. and experimental films, you have to check out FRACTURE. It's a film by me and Kyle, I'm the star and he did most of the directing/all the editing.. very Eraserhead/Begotten/Tetsuo like, set to a 50 minute doom drone soundtrack. Kyle and I, together and separately, are going to make lots of experimental films but yeah. If you look on the internet, you will be able to find a torrent of it. And if you get on soulseek, if kyle ever gets back on, you can download it from Robe Flesh, it's about 700mb. But if you want to order a copy!:

What did you use to film and edit the movie?

A $1500 digital video camera stolen from an Army base when Kyle worked there... He put it through a few effects to make it look as non-digital as possible.. I'm not going to reveal his magic secrets, but in all seriousness, it looks a lot better than, say, Inland Empire (filmed on a $2700 DV camera)!!
But for final cutting, he used uhh... final cut pro. |

Well, you can watch FRACTURE and film it with your webcam and pretend that it's a $1500 camera.
Honestly, you don't need a $1500 camera. You don't need a $150 camera. You could use the shittiest camera in the world and with some clever editing and enough creativity and spirit, you can make some absolutely genius films. I mean, my favorite director is Giuseppe Andrews, and I have 17 of his movies, and I am pretty sure none of them have any budget, but the dude's a fucking genius so it doesn't matter! |

Yeah true. Same with making music haha.
I listened to Time Dilation. Pretty great. I love the guitaring on the second track and the crescendo near the end of the third track. I'll need to listen to it a few more times though of course. By the way, I uploaded a track I did yesterday onto my myspace, check it out if you have the time! |

Thanks, uh.. on that album, tracks 4 and 5 are all me, and Kyle did track 6. But tracks 1-3, we collaborated on, and we did lots of funky shit, he used a church organ, his violin, and other bullshit. Glad you like the guitar, I was in a Fahey mood as usual.
I'm listening to "new tentative track" now... oh, this is excellent. Very lovesliescrushing... is my computer messing up or is there a rhythmic skipping sound every now and then? Sounds fucking great. |

there is indeed a skip every now and then aha.
I'm writing an EP right now that might turn into an album... depends how inspired I get hah. I have school exams soon so I need to chill out wth music a tiny bit... but I'll definitely be doing another album later in the year... and this next one I plan on actually getting released and getting reviewed and blah blah blah |

no. As previously mentioned (or not), my music has been enjoyed by people like sasha grey, alvarius b, the goslings, climax golden twins, our brother the native, uneven universe, warmth, large mound, and countless others for years. I'm still not delusional enough to think that the music I do will ever make me so successful that I can quit my job and do it for a living.
