I third (?) the request for the STEREO SANCTITY video, even the band didn't remember it when i showed them the vidcaps on my site...
http://www.sonicyouth.com/mustang/lp/vid12.html I don't consider myself a huge collector, more of a collector of information... though I do aim to have all of the major items on vinyl (I realize now that I'm only missing 'NYC Ghosts' of the full-length LPs, and I missed my chance to buy a cheap one on eBay, doh..). If I saw 'Walls Have Ears' in a store for $60 or less I'd snap it up easy, I just love the artwork and everything about it... BTW, is the album even supposed to be called 'Walls Have Ears'? The spine just says "This record is called.... WALLS HAVE EARS This record is called.... THE SONIC YOUTH SOUND EXPERIENCE This record is called .... NOT 1", and in the liners it says "This record is called "This Time, The Last Time + Here's To The Next Time" and credits it as a 'Wallz-Have-Earz Production'....

I found WHE in a record co-op for $25, I think about a minute apart from finding a Zensor copy of CIS (with the wrong lp labels) for $18 in an adjacent bin. This was a while ago...I don't think this would be likely to ever happen again - my best dual record score ever.

I had a similar experience with my Walls Have Ears. I was browsing in a secondhand record shop and found Butthole Surfers "Double Live". I couldn't resist buying it... I walked towards the counter, and as I did so, on a shelf to my left, I saw Walls Have Ears, just sitting there, looking at me seductively, like some Amsterdam whore. There was no way I could refuse. |

i saw 'double live' once, with all the inserts, and couldn't afford it at the time.
finding them both simultaneously would be too good to be true!
