What's to stop him from taking a frying pan and bashing you in the face with it? If you decide that he's the one and that you can change him, go ahead. But soon as he starts whipping you with a belt, go to the police. Only jail can change people like this.

Seriously, be afraid. Consider your own well-being. If you must, take up a self-defence class, like judo or taekwondo, so if he gets nasty, you get nasty. You don't want to end up whimpering and sobbing in the corner, curled up like a ball - that's just sad.

It's normal. I want something I can't have either. But I tend to focus on other aspects of my life that need attention; so those feelings drift away like mist into the sunset. But when they come back, I reel at the rushing emotions, unable to contain myself, my physical constraints a stark reminder of the limited, earthly forms that we are bound to, eternally restless and incapable of anything resembling true, unadulterated, love.
