I can't abide those older British men who think that it's ok to wear a pair of shorts that are too small with shoes and socks... so to all intents and purposes their only concession to summer is the removal of their trousers.

actually berlin, where i live sometimes is quite grim in the winter, but i still dont feel like complaining there. must be something to do with england being full of the english or something.
