Hopefully Jesu will do something akin to what Broadrick's previous outfit (Godflesh, for the uninformed) did with Wire's "40 Versions"; That is, do a cover both reverent and idiosyncratic. Which is pretty much a given...

I like the Cure, but they do occasionally lapse into schmaltz and histrionics. But, hey, there are far patchier bands out there.
