Shows that I watch that have not been cancelled, as far as I know:
Law & Order in all forms Supergroup (heck yeah atari) Project Runway (although nothing could beat the 2nd season, which was divine) The Daily Show The Colbert Report My TLC shows: What Not To Wear 10 Years Younger Those last two could be considered extremely guilty pleasures. I don't really take TV seriously, so anything that I can get a laugh out of is fine. Except Law & Order, which isn't very funny. I tend to like shows that are fashion-oriented but that don't focus primarily on celebrities. Project Runway is a shining example of this, where it's like, "Well they have to make a dress for Iman, but really I just want to see more of Santino."

Monk is so-so as is the new Psych show on USA.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia... I forgot that one...that's a pretty good new comedy...which reminds me that in my picks before I forgot Thief which is also on FX. Tuesdays at ten is when FX has been showing The Shield, Thief & Rescue Me, but all during different times of the year. Lucky Louie on HBO is a newer sitcom that's okay. Entourage is the lead-in & it helps one kill time until Huff on Showtime, which is the second-best program on television right now. and I watch The Daily Show, but not daily or anything...I usually catch about one or two of them per week either on the following afternoon's repeat or during the normal scheduled time. I wonder if VH-1 will do a new Supergroup next year...or if Damnocracy will be featured again possibly...supposedly Ted isn't into doing the band as a real thing. The point to all this is of course that while it is true that most television sucks, there is, in fact, some good programming too. However, I know !@#$%!, that guy who's never around anymore, wouldn't agree & neither would Laurie Anderson. She did a a series of pseudo-public service announcements once & one of the PSAs is called "TV Lunch" & was just added to YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIJac...rie%20anderson |

TV fucking sucks. It's true. There is very little quality programming on. There really is very few entertaining media left in this country. 95% of tv shows suck, 99% of the radio sucks, 90% of newspapers suck. We have no more mediums through which we can express our crappy ideas.

Supergroup is not a great show. There's onl;y tow good musicians in that show: Ian Scott from Anthrax and that guy from Biohazard. Ted Nugent is a backwards, hick pedophile and Sebastian Bach is a retarded drunk.

one nation
under God has turned into one nation under the influence of one drug [chorus:] Television, the drug of the Nation Breeding ignorance and feeding radiation (2x) T.V., it satellite links our United States of Unconsciousness Apathetic therapeutic and extremely addictive The methadone metronome pumping out 150 channels 24 hours a day you can flip through all of them and still there's nothing worth watching T.V. is the reason why less than 10 per cent of our Nation reads books daily Why most people think Central Amerika means Kansas Socialism means unamerican and Apartheid is a new headache remedy absorbed in it's world it's so hard to find us It shapes our mind the most maybe the mother of our Nation should remind us that we're sitting too close to... [Chorus:] Television, the drug of the Nation Breeding ignorance and feeding radiation (2x) T.V. is the stomping ground for political candidates Where bears in the woods are chased by Grecian Formula'd bald eagles T.V. is mechanized politic's remote control over the masses co-sponsored by environmentally safe gases watch for the PBS special It's the perpetuation of the two party system where image takes precedence over wisdom Where sound bite politics are served to the fastfood culture Where straight teeth in your mouth are more important than the words that come out of it Race baiting is the way to get selected Willie Horton or Will he not get elected on... [Chorus:] Television, the drug of the Nation Breeding ignorance and feeding radiation (2x) T.V., is it the reflector or the director? Does it imitate us or do we imitate it because a child watches 1500 murders before he's twelve years old and we wonder why we've created a Jason generation that learns to laugh rather than to abhor the horror T.V. is the place where armchair generals and quarterbacks can experience first hand the excitement of warfare as the theme song is sung in the background Sugar sweet sitcoms that leave us with a bad actor taste while pop stars metamorphosize into soda pop stars You saw the video You heard the soundtrack Well now go buy the soft drink Well, the onla cola that I support would be a union C.O.L.A.(Cost Of Living Allowance) On television [Chorus:] Television, the drug of the Nation Breeding ignorance and feeding radiation (2x) Back again, "New and improved" We return to our irregularly programmed schedule hidden cleverly between heavy breasted beer and car commercials CNNESPNABCTNT but mostly B.S. Where oxymoronic language like "virtually spotless", "fresh frozen" "light yet filling" and "military intelligence" have become standard T.V. is the place where phrases are redefined like "recession" to "necessary downturn" "Crude oil" on a beach to "mousse" "Civilian death" to "collateral damages" and being killed by your own Army is now called "friendly fire" T.V. is the place where the pursuit of happiness has become the pursuit of trivia Where toothpaste and cars have become sex objects Where imagination is sucked out of children by a cathode ray nipple T.V. is the only wet nurse that would create a cripple [Chorus:] Television, the drug of the Nation Breeding ignorance and feeding radiation (4x) Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy

Once again, I want to direct everyone's attention to my signature. Sebastian Bach: retarded drunk, or savior of rock and roll? Probably the former, but let's just pretend it's the latter, Mmkay?

You know, in my memory that really is about the time TV started to go down the tubes. I'll admit I watch mayyybe two shows, I don't think tv is like a plague on society or anything, but it's sort of becoming that. I just think it's gone to shit recently. I do think that now more than ever, if people are gonna let their kids watch, they should watch it with them DEFINATELY. I saw 2 commercials the other day at 2 pm. One was a woman in very revealing lingere, sitting on top of a man pumping his chest. Another was for some reality cancun bullshit with like 3 women in bikinis rubbing soap on eachother, at 2 PM. Pretty fucked up. As for TV shows, I enjoy Saturday Night live reruns and Iron Chef. Beyond that, TV is of no intrest to me. Cept that stupid E channel is the only channel that runs the SNL reruns now and the only ones they show are the ones with hosts who are like, super popular celebrities at the moment, so they only show ones from the past 3 years.
