i see they are playing tonight. motumbo just needs to do more finger wagging and they'll win. the orlando game is in 20 minutes. too bad i have to work. they lost the last game, but i have a good feeling they'll win this one. they better get out of the first round this year! |

dwight howard is unstoppable
its gonna be magic and celtics in eastern ships, mark my words. as much as i hate to say it, its lookin like the spurs will be meetin the celtics in the finals. they are just playoff perfect, and boring to boot.

HAWKS BABY!!... hahaha. loved it. Al Horford and Josh Smith beat the shit out of the old men of boston.... loved especially when Horford told paul pierce when he was down, and then pierce gets upset... haha so good. also J-Smoov dunking on allen and sending rondo's shit out of the building was so awesome

boston took the game off plain and simple. if you guys think their lack of defense was a mistake, then think again. they know they have this series in the bag, so they were taking a rest, plain and simple. they are vastly superior to the hawks and will not lose this series.
chris bosh had a fucking hame yesterday though, him and dwight make for a compelling matchup. pheonix needs to get over their inferiority complex to the spurs and starting learning to play defense and toughness. they play like wimps on d, and with nash getting older, they arent gonna be an offensive powerhouse for long. i hate the pistons, they are boring, and im glad theyre getting their asses kicked. im sick of the spurs winning in the playoffs, they are even more boring than the pistons, and represent such a tiny area, why is thir franchise so strong? beats me. like i said before, this has been the best year for the nba since jordans retirement, lots of young amazing talent, and mindblowing veterans, boston and la, the bggest bball towns in the country, are playing well. if chicago, new york, and philly could get their shit together, the nba will be respected like it once was.

did you watch the game? i really don't think this was the case... KG and Pierce were in the game till the end... KG would have been rested for sure if they were 'taking the game off'.... also, they wouldn't like to be beaten like that... with Paul Pierce getting told by Al Horford... so great

even if youre right i cant see the hawks beating the celtics. bibby, horford, childress, smith, theyre all good players, but they are all inconsistent and poor defenders. its not gonna workk against a team like the celtics.

they probably won't beat them... but last night they definitely proved that the rest of the series could be interesting... if they just play with energy and confidence, like Philly is doing to Detroit....and Smith is not a poor defender... one of the better ones in the league actually

i didn't think it was going to be a sweep against the hawks, but i do believe that last night will be boston's only loss in the series.

you guys have heard that it is pretty much accpeted and unspoken that Jordan was punished secretely by the league while in his prime, and foced to "retire" for two years" because of his massive gambling and gambling on his own games and team? crazy shit.
his whole baseball endeavor was just to kill time and put up a front. They say his father was killed by people to whom Jordan owed muillions in gambling debts. Hios father was found shot through the head execution style in his car in a highway rest area, undisturbed, and nothing stolen. terrible.

yes its at an all time high, but many think that the people who make up the nba are thugs, they dont care about anything besides stats, overpaid etc... and its been like this pretty much since jordan retired.

well orlando won it's first playoff series since 1996. howard had an incredible 21 rebounds in the game. does anyone know what series winner they play next?

How does losing a 7 game 1st round series qualify a team as choke artists? |

hahaha. suck it paul pierce. ass.
ok, seriously, they have a chance to win this. if they win in Boston on Wednesday then I do believe they will finish it in Atlanta on Friday... if they lose this next one it might be tougher... Josh Smith owns Rondo.... JJ was so clutch tonight...actually driving the ball instead of settling for his lameass turnaround jumpers which never work late in the game

atlanta.... at least NYG were somewhat respected... hawks have the worst record among playoff teams, and were coming into this series with 0 respect
