Yeah, I think it still has some chemicals in it (well, what doesn't). There's something in most bigger brands that can be troublesome--maybe it's alcohol.
I won't/can't go back to using anything else.

If Atlanta doesn't get significant rainfall in the next 60 days, they'll go to a mandatory 4-days-on, 3-days-off water rationing cycle. Meaning for 3 days you can't use ANY water in your house, or you'll be fined. I wonder what deoderant protects for three days.

No shit. I'm learning some things about water. In the southeast here (though I'm not in Atlanta), the source for all water for human consumption comes from surface water alone--lakes, rivers, streams. When those dry up, the water is gone. There's no ground water to tap into. I find that frightening.
