I listened to Pretty Hate Machine, along with the Cure Mixed Up, for my entire trip to Puerto Rico after I graduated in 1991. My dad had passed away that February and it was a weird time. Hearing the Reznor getting into it really helped me out.

I wold go to the freak nightclub in Houston, Numbers, and dance to insane music, and they would play that NIN Get Down Make LOve with the crazy video showing clips from Clockwork Orange. That shit was awesome.

I stopped giving a fuck about NIN soon after that. I missed the danceability of their earlier stuff....

i never gave much fucks about NIN, i mean i had checked out their records and heard their singles. i didn't not like them, but i never had enough interest to own any of their records. however recently i realized i should give them another go and was pleasantly surprised that where i am now with music, i like NIN. i picked up some of their records recently, particularly enjoying The Fragile. it seems to be more of all the elements that i always liked about NIN

I'm gonna be honest, I do suffer from snobiness, but it's not something I'm proud of. Snobiness is a really unattractive trait, and when I find myself being a snob I try really hard to real it in.
