woah....really? AS in better than the eternal? I love jack white, and Allison...but I just don't think this band is anywhere as good as their original bands. I dunno...I gave the album a couple listens and seemed too.....recycled maybe? I dunno. It's been a while. |

Hmm, that would be...
The Flaming Lips - Embryonic (such a great record, I didn't think I'd ever give The Flaming Lips a new chance, but this album is fantastic!) Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavillion (while I don't think it's the masterpiece many says it is, I really love listening to it. Great pop songs. Not my favorite album of theirs, but it's awesome.) Thåström - Kärlek Är För Dom (This awesome Swedish dude I like, don't know if he's well known outside of Sweden. Anyway, this is a personal and very beautiful album I love.) |

just bought jim orourke's visitor, damn small hmv didn't have much choice in their 'rock&pop' section, but found this as a first encounter to jim's music. Got suspended from work for saying 'let's put our handbags away' to my hysterical gay boss on christmas eve, he's put in a complaint funny enough, and I got sent home today so decided to use a crimbo voucher. Their paying for my damn taxis!
