Although there's brilliance to be found on all of their albums, I'd probably go for For Your Pleasure too. Like the Velvets, Roxy are one of those very few bands I'm convinced I'll still be listening to when i'm 60.

I wish I could find those damned first two albums!
The whole reissue business never makes sense. They've reissued the shit out of the whole VU catalog on LP in multiple forms--colored vinyl, 180 gram, special editions, regular editions. Why can't they spread some of the wealth and get other things, like Roxy Music, into the bins again?

I might be wrong, but weren't their albums all reissued at the time of their risible reunion?
I seem to remember seeing some of their vinyl in some record shops around that time. |
