the absence of certain albums can be blamed on the inability to come to a consensus of a fave album, or they were rated too low on lists, hence why no yo la tengo (3 albums voted for), unwound (4 albums) fushitsusha (4 albums) and so on

198 - Sonic Youth - A Thousand Leaves : 21,20,5,1,11,25,23,18,25,6,7,24,12

188 - Radiohead - OK Computer : 21,8,15,24,1,25,24,24,25,21

181 - Sonic Youth - Goo : 20,24,22,14,16,22,23,5,21,14

155 - Boredoms - Super æ : 25,14,16,10,25,19,22,24

all those underlined were first place votes, Slint had the most first place votes by far, however only 11 people put them on their list, where as 14 for WM and 17 for Loveless and it was far and away the winner

however if you avg them out you'd get some thing like this

Spiderland - 21.09
Washing Machine - 19.78
Loveless - 18.94

based on that most people put them higher on their lists usually, but means little
