Strong songs, but no real jump out radio singles. Probably one of the best commentaries on the black community I've heard in rap. I think its a very good listen, I have no idea who was complaining or why.

Deffinitlely not your regular top 40 hip hop stuff. I think Nas produced most of it but I'd have to look at my copy. And the last poets are on it... win.

Rob--That Ranaldo album looks fucking awesome.
I realized today that I don't own A Love Supreme, so I got it. And I also decided to get Tool's Undertow, cause I can never just get one CD. |

A Love Supreme is Fantastic.
First Jazz album I ever really listened to. I've grown up with jazz but have only recently come to appreciate it.

I've always loved and grown up with jazz too, but it seemed so vast and hard to become familiar with. Then I took a jazz history class. I didn't expect it to do much good, but I've never learned so much useful information from a class in my life. The teacher was passionate, thorough, and had us listen to everything. It was great. I actually got the whole big picture and retained it.

I always just thought of it as my dad's music and thus rejected it, then one day I actually listened.

Two Hunters - Wolves in the Throne Room
I'm realling diggin' the thick 5" mini-gatefold cardboard jacket. I totally prefer this type of packaging for compact discs. |
