Well, you're on my ignore list so I don't know why you responded to it in the first place. Of course I'm reading your posts in this thread (exclusively) because they might have some information about the compilation, which interests me. Now, if you went out of your way to respond to me and be 'helpful' in a half assed way I thought you might wanna follow through but I guess it's my fault for giving you too much credit.

Don't worry, you've been on ignore for ages. Did I forget to tell you, is that why you've been responding to my posts? Sorry. I was under the impression you had something to do with this compilation and read some of your posts, but once again, my fault giving you too much credit.

It's kind of funny tho, that you'd ask me to put you on ignore and not do the same. Especially for someone who "doesn't care".

You wanna be on ignore but keep reading and responding to my posts or mentioning me - the reason why I know that is that sometimes I get logged off and I stumble across these posts.

You'd think someone who genuinely doesn't care would be the first to put me on ignore rather than insisting on some dramatic "i'm asking you to put me on ignore".

If you didn't want to be helpful you didn't have to mention anything at all - but it comes across as you're fishing for opportunities to be hostile towards me. I thought you were being civil for once, but... my mistake.

So let's do this mutually; get your actions to match your "i don't care" claims by actually ignoring me.

Oh and anyone actually willing to let me know where they get cheap tapes, please tell me.

That's why I have a problem viewing a compilation as some kind of unity, even when there's a theme and a certain degree of cohesiveness involved, there's always some randomness to it (which I like) and you gotta analyse each track individually, as you would each artist.

I've had tracks ruined by professionals who just didn't get what we were getting at, and if I could go back in time I would opt for no mastering at all in some cases. I do find it interesting, I like to be surprised by the results but I'm not alone in this and I work with someone who, unlike me, has all the technical knowlege and devotes himself to every detail.

Personally, I'm happy listening to bedroom cassette tapes or super overly produced tracks, as the essence that interests me is beyond that.
