Can you recommend me some good RPG for PS4?
I've played Witcher 3, Divinity:Original Sin and Skyrim and now I can't find anything similar to these three marvelous games. I'll have a month off, I need a game to play.

Have you tried any of the Dark Souls games Slavo? They have that fantasy vibe. However they’re brutally hard.

They aren't as difficult as people make out, if you played games in the 8bit or 16bit eras you will played harder and less fair games that are now regarded as classics. Dark Souls is my favourite game of all time I highly recommend it. It is certainly challenging but it is very fair and unlike a lot of modern games it leaves it up to the player to figure things out, which when you do beat a tough boss, discover a hidden area or short cut makes the game incredibly rewarding. It also has one of the cleverest world designs I've seen in a game, and incredible atmosphere. You can probably pick up a second hand copy of Dark Souls Remastered for a reasonable price. |

I'm really enjoying Horizon Zero Dawn. Witcher 3 is one of my all time favs and if you like that I think you'll dig Horizon.

I mean, it's not standard "fantasy" RPG, but everyone seems to be raving on Red Dead Redemption this year. I have yet to try it out, but it's on the list, and the vids I have watched on it seem superb. |

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen might be your safest bet. Think Witcher but with a 'pawn-based' party system and waaaay better combat. Seriously, the combat is the best part of the entire game. Also consider looking into maybe Monster Hunter World or Dragon Quest XI. |

I played the demo of dragons dogma and the combat seemed pretty wack compared to dark souls |

I second MHW. Pretty fun, but if your single player driven, you’ll probably not enjoy it as much.

Dragon's Dogma isn't really meant to play like Dark Souls though, the game has more in common w/ like Witcher or Skyrim (two of my all-time favs tbh). DD just has Dark Souls-esque combat. Dragons Dogma was intended to be like a Capcom developed take on the western RPG. Slavo, if you're curious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2v-FYCN72M |

Not sure why I did not think of this earlier, but both South Park games are absolutely GREAT RPGs. I strongly recommend either of them. They are a bit easy mode, so certainly play them on hardest difficulty if you try them. |

actually, this looks like it could be right up my alley. also, I might check out Dark Souls too, thanks to your recommendation. I've always avoided it due to it's arguable difficulty, but it might be fun though.

Goofing around in IT class because it's the last day. I thought I was doing pretty well, but evidently not. Especially since the first time I had them in the wrong hands.

it's the most true to the original board game as anything that's been released. I think I prefer the Roguetech mod to vanilla though. It's infinitely more difficult, you have to play very defensively or the AI will fuck you, and there's heaps more customization with components. |

Just beat Delirium, 9 lives, 99 bombs, 99 keys, 99 coins. What a run.

Played this with some friends. It was a lot of fun, and although the humour will certainly be dated in a few years, I was able to enjoy it at this point. My monster got laid, too.

It's in the whole visual novel style - all your choices are really a) where you'll go and b) what you will say when you're there. It's quite tongue-in-cheek - breaks the fourth wall about your in-game stats a lot ('by sitting down on the toilet seat without wiping it first, you gain +2 BOLDNESS, and probably +1 STD'). Also there's a shit-ton of possible endings. $15 on Steam according to my friends, but that's Australian

Okay, I am certainly going to have to check it out. And if you like that style of game at all, I HIGHLY recommend checking out Doki Doki Literature Club. I commented on it some time ago about it blowing my mind. Based on your description of that Monster Prom game though, it might be right up your alley. Heed the warnings though, it can be a little disturbing to some. Also, it's FREE on Steam. You can learn more here: https://ddlc.moe/ EDIT: P.S. I get quite a chuckle at the fact you have now chosen that as your sig. |
