Took my first AP test today. AP European History. Wasn't very fun. But it wasn't too hard. I'm confident that I passed.
Can't wait until next year. I'll be taking 3. Anyone else have any this week/next week? Or stories from years past? |

I took the CLEP for Intro to Psych yesterday. Made a 61 (20-80 point scale, 50 for credit, 65 for credit at Ivy League level)
It wasn't too tough, had so stuff from way out in left field. I took it as part of my Psych class which covers college level Intro to Psych in half the time it normally takes. That puts me up to 15 hours of credit, and I have 5 days left of high school. It sucks because my jerk-water school doesn't offer AP classes, only 2 Dual-enrollment and 2 CLEP preparation classes.

I took the English one, but was pretty hungover from the night before. I ended up fucking up because the final essay was on some Shakespeare play that we didn't read......whatev. It's not like passing them gives you some HUGE advantage in college or anything.

I took the AB Calculus AP Exam on Wednesday.
It went by quickly and was pretty simple. |

Back in the day when I took the AP stat test (this was like the 2nd year they offered it) it was like a party. One dude was dressed in a gorilla suit, another dude was dressed in a bikini. I left two of the 5 essays blank, including the most valuable one, and still got a 5 on the test.
All I remember from the AP Gov't exam is that some dudes in the van next to us were smoking up hardcore before and after the exam. |

My advisor suggested that I take AP Biology, so I did. I barely passed it with a C. I certainly had no fun at all taking it, or any illusions about my ability to pass it or the AP Test.

my teacher offered 200 extra credit points to anyone who took the AP English test, but i was somehow unaware of this. i would've taken it. instead, i worked my ass off at the end of the semester and got a D in the class.
