i like so many. recently saw the new texas chainsaw massacre one and it was actually quite good. it was funny a mexican family came in with their two kids, little kids who proceeded to run around and shout throughout the whole film pretty much. those kids will be chainsaw killers when they are older i bet.
grudge 2 was also pretty scary but not really a horror film. the first ever horror i saw was nightmare on elm street 2 and it had a lasting impression on me over the years.

candyman i think those are tops . same here about nightmare on elm street - i dont recall which one scared the fuck out of me , but it holds the earliest memories of movie-induced terror that, and children of the corn 2 . those creepy fuckign kids . |

Night of the Living Dead (1990). I like the remake of Dawn of the Dead too, but it's not as good as the original.
