Conceived in 1969 as an “audience participation” work, John Cage’s original “score” simply stipulated that the gallery be filled with about a dozen record players and two- to three-hundred vinyl records. Museum visitors were encouraged to act as DJs and create a musical mix by playing records freely and thus performing the work.

February 17-May 6, 2012. MEMBRA DISJECTA FOR JOHN CAGE: Wanting to Say Something About John. Freiraum Quartier21, INTERNATIONAL, MuseumsQuartier Vienna (this show later travels to the Czech Republic). Lee collaborated with Dutch Artist Zeger Reyers. More info here: http://johncage.tonspur.at/

Anytime you wanna come to Chiacgo Lee....that'll be great. I mean....the closests you've been was Champaign and that was a university 2.5 hours away....which was...like 3 years ago. come on man!

It looks like they've only seemed to have booked as far west as Chicago....so I'm guessing they will be adding more dates....at least somewhere in TExas if not Houston.
