I'm not sure if they're actively getting together as buttholes much anymore, but Gibby has been working with his new band band...

No one knows if they're back together. They toured in 2001 and have been in limbo since then. Such a fucking shame cause they're close to my favorite band ever. I saw them on that tour too, they were incredible.

Gibby's moved back to New York and is doing solo stuff.
I wouldn't know what the current situation is with the butthole's.

The band never technically disbanded, but I know they haven't played together in quite some time. I hear Gibby is a big heroin addict and Leary has been doing other things as well as Coffey.

I still liked Weird Revolution. An underrated record. Their approach to pop music was still interesting.
