I actually am listening to BLACKDANCE right one, was one of the few Schulzes I didn't have. It's one of his darker and more depressing works, to be certain. I absolute love it, especially VOICES OF SYN, with its "fucking with the equalizer" sweeping sounds and the weird rhythm that sounds like a guy snapping his finger while a gabber beat plays about 500 miles down the road.
Schulze is basically the god of synth. I can't think of another solo synth player in the history of recorded music with a better discography, but I'm all ears if anyone has any suggestions. |
