t'is 1-0 to brazil right now. I reckon they will walk away with it, Ronaldo scored it and now he has the most goals in a world cup ever, i heard he's gonna celebrate it with a Burger King Whopper.

I think it was a great match to watch, but I wish that Ghana would've brought home some goals. Either way, no real suprises.

Yeah, I wanted Ghana to do well but wasn't really holding out much hope. I don't think a Germany - Brazil final is a dead cert. Argentina are looking pretty strong despite squeezing through against Mexico. Germany look surprisingly good going forward but they have definite defensive problems that could get them found out against stronger opposition. They are always going to be a resilient team though.
You can never rule Italy out as well...despite them playing some of the most godawful tedious football ever to grace a football field. But that's the Italian style....yawn. And England play in a similar way what with Eriksson managing Lazio previously. Go one goal up and then batten down the hatches. Boring, awful negative football which makes me want both of those teams to get dumped out if they continue to play in that way |

Damn right, Iain. The Ghana-Italy match, I think, was the most stylish game of football we're going to see this entire World Cup. yeaaaaaaah.

Ghana is not competitive in comparison to Brazil. though they play soccer pretty good, their only problem is that they do not know how to defend and how to give a good shut. Anyway Brazil didn't give its best. We could do much better that that. And i hope we do it against France on Saturday. Brazil may not win this cup, but we indeed have the best soccer player ever. Brazilian players such as Ronaldinho Gaucho make art with the ball. |

Argentina were my pick but now I'm leaning towards Germany. If England sneak through with yet another piss-poor performance just beacuse Portugal are so depleted I swear I'll either cry or attack some randomer in the street just to vent.
Shame about Ghana, they wern't half bad. |
