Something else.
Did you know that Michael Meyers prostetic is actually a William Shatner "Star Trek" mask that John Carpenter pimped? Look at the resemblance.

The exorcist for sure.
The texas chainsaw massacre- because the sounds in it are nausea-inducing. Rosemary baby Profondo Rosso (or Deep Red for non-italian speakers) Suspiria Carrie - superb The omen |

My favorite would be Evil Dead. The first one, not the other two. Still great movies, but they aren't horror IMO. |

Not that big into horror movies. I liked House of a 1000 Corpses, though.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...ry_death_scene
I used this very comprehensive list when I couldn't think what gory scene to paint next recently. 20 pages of movie deaths, most from horror films also, for low budget or notorious or just bad b-movie horror, you can't beat this torrent site http://tracker.zaerc.com/ |
