You're missing out if you don't know this band...Excellent 80's band headed by Pat Fish, with David J of Bauhaus and Love and Rockets on bass, before he ever played with those bands.

Jazz Butcher didn't release any albums until 1983.
Bauhaus started in 1979. In any case, some good clever pop tunes there. I really liked "Sex and Travel" when I was in high school. Not sure if I would like it as much now, but I'm sure I would totally enjoy it if only for nostalgic reasons. Hayden. I will cut you some slack because you are still in diapers. Bauhaus completely ruled, and Love and Rockets made two really good albums that I still like. You like Joanna Newsom and Xiu Xiu, so I call grain of salt on you here. |

Smiths and Joy Division > Bauhaus and Love and Rockets
Get over it.

Oh, well I don't really like Bauhaus, thus my lack of knowledge about them except for the fact that David J was part of them.

Put Love and Rockets in the first group and I'll agree.

Smiths are total apples to Bauhaus oranges.
Joy Division are great, but again not remotely similar. Tones On Tail > Love And Rockets, I'll give you that much. |

Bauhaus is great. I was kind of turned off by them for a long time because I thought they would just be some crappy goth band or something.....false.
