massachusetts for the traveller

i'm going to boston for work in august but will take a week off beforehand to do things around massachusetts.

so my question is, aside from cape cod, what other things are there to do and places to visit in mass.? suppose i could even go as far a rhode island?

anyway, in cape cod you'll sure love provincetown. lots of pecs.

i'd go to maine maybe? acadia national park is great & the blueberry pancakes are AWESOME.

shit, i need a vacation. i haven't had one in ages.

you gotta check out northampton and amherst. two very cool funkty towns where a lot is happening right now.
and anywase western mass is beautiful. when you are in boston make sure you go to cambridge=harvard square.
io can also revcommend you the best cd stores in the state if you want
