That first one is more "Jolly Roger" than "Totenkopf."

I gave my dad a "Virgin Mary" toastmaker and some high-end bread at christmas. I liked having this year be about jokey gifts.

i never eat toast, and sliced bread rarely, and i think toasting bagels is unnatural, so i don't think about toasters unless i see a thread about them here. but if i have to go for one, paulybee's 19th-century artifact has to be the coolest of them.
