Listening to it for the first time today, and it's really good, i like it a lot. Favourite songs so far are 'Glory', 'Explain it to me' and 'Shatter'. (P.S. Thanks thanks to Derek (magicwheelmemory) for giving me this album) Your thoughts? i am also liking Aimee Mann at the moment. Anyone here like her? |

from what i hear, the one right after exile is pretty good too, then next one not so much and after that it's all rubbish. but i haven't heard most of them.
although, i have to say i really like that "why can't i" song from her first major label album. |

True. I haven't heard those in a long time so i think i'll break them out. After that, she got real bland, slick production. Always loved her voice..her and Mary Timony have been my favorite chick singers for a long time now.

Supernova (off whip smart) is one of the greatest pop songs of all time.
Do you have a turntable? If you do, I'll send you a copy, I have a spare. PM me. |

Whip Smart is great.
I got rid of all my Liz Phair stuff over the years except for that... the reason being that I love "Supernova"... it's been one of my favorite songs since it came out, and takes me to a certain time and place in my younger years. Good shit. |
