I can't stop watching this Garbage dvd, that Shirley Manson is soooo hot! I just want to pick her up and squeeze her. I'd probably be arrested and hit with a restraining order though. Sigh.

I have never found her remotely attractive, personally.
But even if I did, there's the problem of the music to consider. |

She has not aged very well. Before I used to fantasize about her. I still like some of their songs.

There were good songs on it, I'm not sure it has aged well though. |

Yeah, some good songs indeed, "come down to my house, stick a stone in your mouth" is one of my fav opening lines ever .
I haven't heard the album in a while, you might be right about the "aging" issue...

A guy I used to live with played that first Garbage CD constantly. Drove me round the bend. So I have nothing but negative memories of them and their wierd premature foetus of a singer.

Heh, Garbage was my favorite band for a while when I was a teenager.
I don't like anything past Version 2.0 though. I owned Beautifulgarbage but never listened to it but a few times so I sold it. |

i love the self-titled, v2.0 and beautiful garbage has some good moments but it all fucked up from that moment on.
the b-sides are also amazing.

I saw her play in her previous band, Goodbye Mr Mackenzie, some time in the late 80s. Big John from The Exploited was part of the band, and he was far more interesting to watch than Ms Manson.

I tought Bleed Like Me had some good cuts although Butch tends to get carried away a little while mixing. Shirley isn't aging poorly at all, she's in her early 40's. Anyway, just an oddball band that I like.
