What's the last thing you played by Sonic Youth? And what did you think of it?

Last thing I played was...umm... Murray Street like a month ago. I thought it was just as good as it was before I heard it again.

Played 'Murray Street' whilst cooking a nice curry on Thursday.
Unsurprisingly, it's still the best LP ever made by anyone.

I've been listening to Rather Ripped. Trying to absorb it as much as possible. Not a bad record, but a bit of a let down. doesnt exactly meet SY standards.

i think the last SY i listened to was Sonic Nurse last week. Nurse is one of the best albums to listen to at night.
no, wait. i listened to their cover of "Ca Plane Pour Moi" on my mp3 player a few days ago.

She's in a Bad Mood
It's an awesome way to start Confusion Is Sex, and I love Thurston's voice on this track. I think this song has a creepy feel to it, and I always seem to be listening to it before bed. |
