I just bought tickets for Pearl Jam in Nijmegen, June 28. Which is just two days after I'm seeing Sonic Youth in Köln so it's going to be a nice week
The lineup for PJ is: 17.00 uur: Perry Farrell's Satellite Party; 17.50 uur: Kings of Leon; 19.00 uur: Incubus; 20.45 uur: Pearl Jam I'm definately looking forward to see Perry Farell. I love Jane's Addiction, and also what I've heard of his new band (even though it's only the single). And I really like Pearl Jam too, have all their albums except the first and last one, and tons of boots. And live they sound so much better, it will be the first time I will actually see them though. I'm almost more anxious to see them than SY. And it's a regular show, not a shortened festival date. But I don't know the other two bands at all. Are they any good? I regret that Perry is playing first, would rather see him play just before PJ. Might even have decided to come later and miss the first act then.

Incubus
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JpHFyYrNuuM Incubus are from Calabasas California, they have done a few very popular songs, school/college radio type stuff, they have a GORGEOUS front man with beautiful tattoo's named Brandon. i like them, but not enough to ever buy on of their albums. I think the best song they have ever done was Megalomanic, which was quite recently. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iFnnV595byE Kings of Leon http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTRuzV-BKL0 My favourite Kings of Leon song and video. Ive seen them twice, they are a pretty okay band, like a southern version of The Strokes. Not as good as Incubus though. The band is made up of three bothers and their cousin, their father was a preacher, and they have very biblical names Jared, Caleb and Nathan and Matthew. They are from Tennessee. |

incubus had a couple of good songs at the beginning but they are now modern radio darlings, not that good.
kings of leon are the equivalent of child molestors in music. |

Have tatoos anything to do with the music? No. Do you want what you have to say about music to be taken seriously? Get a grip and find a shag. Ciao.
