So, what languages do you know? I can speak German well, and Czech not so well. Will start learning some Spanish v soon for a holiday later this year.

speak: spanish, english, french

read: all of the above plus portuguese & some italian (w/ dictionary)

other: with enough alcohol, any language

well don't mind your language knowledge based on the replies in this thread: trasher and i are both belgian and its very common to learn french, english and german here (definitely the first two) and from what i understood, king_buzzo comes from serbia.. its always useful to know languages of course. but with spanish and english, you're doing pretty well i think

I speak three languages. each more poorly than the other.

engrish (no idea where I got it), mexican (self taught) and german (3 years wasted in high school).

please note: I do not speak spanish. I speak mexican (although it was close enough to get me by in spain).

My mastering of the English language scares people off. I read and to an extent undersdand Spanish and French fluently. My first language is Italian, which i master way better than most Italians.
