WHAT THE FUCK?!
What. The. Fuck. Why is God targeting musicians that I love in such a random and bizarre way? (no love for Glenn Fry, but otherwise...) dammit |

Longtime Richard Thompson collaborator Pete Zorn also died recently, on April 19. Listen to any show from "The Tour From Hell" (Richard & Linda promoting Shoot Out The Lights in the States) and if you have ears and are not a ding dong you'll be able to tell what an amazing bass player he was.
Also, dunno if it has been mentioned here but Billy Paul died last Sunday. Meanwhile, as far as I know Jon Bon Jovi is A-OK. God is a DICK.

Bon jovi does a lot of good politically. He's pretty stalwart on any progressive candidates & causes. For that alone, I want him to live long!

Yeah, I know, but it still makes me want to pull Trump's secret service detail and assign those guys to the Richard D. Jamses, Justin Trospers, Tom Waitses, Wayne Coynes, Thurstons, Kims, Kanyes, Lees and Steve Shelleys of the world. Seriously, it's just super fucked up that the year kicked off with the deaths of Bowie and Lemmy... adding Price was a stake through my heart, and now even the unknown indie and post-punk dudes are dropping? No! I refuse! We must be in the Matrix. (Sigh) ... All the dead homies. |
