Michael Morley has an art show in Houston this month here:
http://www.ggalleryhouston.com/micha...s-the-refused/

The opening will include a musical performance by Morley and Nina Canal of Ut. Sat, Jan 9th, 6-9pm, at Gspot Gallery.

I'm envious.

so this exists

a side is morley applying loop-based destruction to 70s tropes -- decaying then mounting drones to atop cheeseball rhythms and riffs to nauseating effect. b side he takes on weightless happy go lucky new age 90s pop to...strange ends.

this is one of the most fucking nuts records I have ever heard. like a republic of sadness on crack -- all of that record's aesthetic palatability drained out and its total restraint completely relinquished leaving a deranged drunkard spewing whatever shit he can conjure onto the corpse of pop. incredible.
