I filmed this show a while ago (11/01/98 7th Street Entry Minneaplis) and haven't watched if for years until I transferred it the other day. I quickly remembered something: Nels Cline blows me away - he just is such an amazing guitar player. This song is so elementary to him I'm sure. Wish I could've seen a Nels Cline Trio gig. Wilco is slightly more interesting to me now ONLY because of him. There's a couple other songs I posted of this show too and more soon maybe.... |

Both Ground and Chest are really good, also Pillow Wand or In Store with Thurston are cool, a bit mellow improv. Not sure if all his albums are still in print, I know some of them were/are on Little Brother Records.

Personnally I really dig "Destroy all Nels Cline" and "The giant pin".
