Should be here on Tuesday.
Anyone have one? What are they like? I had my heart set on a Vox, but I'd rather have a Wah and another pedal than just a wah.

It's not bad at all. I was a bit hesitant, considering I've got less than $100 in my other four pedals combined. But, my guitar guy was very helpful with it and all. He said he could order it today and it be here by Tuesday and it was only $99. He had a used Morley wah in stock for $95, but I've heard they tend to sound kind of "metal-ly" so I passed, although I think I might buy a used Tremelo pedal he has when I go to pick up the wah.

Cool. For some reason the ones I see are all really expensive even though as pedals they're really one trick ponies.

Yeah, I would like to have it for some of my more fuzzed out stuff a la early MBV. Also, it would complement my Chorus nicely.

Sold my cry baby recently cuz I never use it, and the pot was scratchy so it didn't sound very good when I did.

I wouldn't mind a scratchy pot too much, I'm not an effects nazi.

I had a cry-baby. Loved the sound. Didn't like having to turn it on, but did like that I could leave it in positions.
Pot got scratched.. started to sound bad. You will mind a scratched pot, no matter what you play. But they're cheap and easy to replace. I sold the Dunlop, but shouldn't have. Just did because I got a free Morley. You can tweak the sounds on the Morley by changing the position of the LED. But overall, I still like the cry-baby more. |

Well, it's good to know that they're easy to replace. My sustainer has a scratchy volume pot that I need to have replaced.

Well, yeah, that would bother me too if the scratchiness was louder than the effect. But, hopefull, mine will be all right.

i'm not a big fan of wah, but then again, i put on fu manchu and i love wah...that standard dunlop cry baby does the job, nothing fancy, just a good solid wah pedal with a decent price, nice if you really 'need' it in your setup, as for myself i got rid of it when i noticed i barely used it and was taking up too much space , if you're not too sure wether it's going to be essential to your setup i'd look around for a second hand one in good condition when you're a broke ass student like myself
i once considered getting a dunlop wah for bass but got so bored noodling around at the store, i mean, you could do funky things with it, but i couldn't see myself using it in the band i currently play in, maybe i would've gotten it if it would've had more options/different sounds as for trem pedals.... i love the dano tuna melt, it can go from mellow late fifties/early sixties tremolo to stuttering square wave in your face trem, very versatile, small &cheap |

Like I said, he had Morley Bad Horsie (?) wah used for $95 and the Cry-baby is $99 new.
And I've got a Dano Chorus, I like it, although I don't use it all that much, only to get a bit more expression out of my distortion when both are on.
