powertabs.net is quite good, IMHO. They have a ton of guitar tabs and their tablatures and transcriptions are all top notch and community-moderated; so crap tabs are booted after a while. Only catch is you have to download the Power Tabs software which is not bad; full featured MIDI-based guitar transcribing software. Oh, yeah, it's free.

I personally prefer tab websites that are just for one band. There is the excellent sonicyouth.com/mustang site for SY tabs, but also:
mbv.bravepages.com- My bloody valentine tabs, not very complete, oh well http://www.geocities.com/sunsetstrip...Bowietab.html- David Bowie Tabs http://www.contrib.andrew.cmu.edu/~qwerty/wire/- WIRE tabs http://gvelay.free.fr/gta/?jd/index.html- Gothic Tab Archive- Bauhaus, Joy Division, other stuff There was also a really good Lou Reed one and a really good Frank Black one, but my computer is being really lame right now. |

Last I checked there was Leo's Lyrics. They even have a Winamp plugin, so if you're a Winamp user it'll automatically d/l the lyrics of the song you're listening to in Winamp. Of course for Sonic Youth lyrics, there's always the reliable and excellent sonicyouth.com/mustang.

This one is pretty good for lyrics (punk bands).
