I'll get round to reading this eventually. For now I'll ask: isn't there an ideological struggle about how one needn't tranmit the Rastafari faith by writings? Presumably there's a grey area which isn't present in the Quakers? Please note: my understanding of Quakers is entirely down to 3 Quaker meetings I went to a few years ago.
Thanks for posting for the first time this year without an unecessary and plainly-seen bias.

I know nothing about Rastafari except what I've heard through reggae music. Thanks for the links. I look forward to checking out these websites tonight.

no not necessarily, rastafari is centered on the concept of word, sound power. in this regard, the power of the word, regardless of the mechanism of transmission, is not limited, as long as it is sounded in the hearts, minds and voices of the people. I think you have mixed up Quakers with Nagualism[ http://www.nagualism.com/]

That's such a cool picture. Thanks for posting those links, I'd like to read more about it and understand why I'll never be a Rastafarian. |

perhaps you might find yourself in a different situation entirely. I did, and I came into this work as an antagonist, like the Apostle Paul, persecuting those amonsgt Rastafari as blasphemy and paganism, how wrong i was!

I doubt that would be my case, even though at my atheist best I still take religious and spiritual thought, feeling and literature very, very seriously. Thanks again for posting those links. |

No. I'll pass. In fact, I'll pass harder than this has ever been passed before.
