I wouldn't mind seeing Interpol, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Biffy Clyro all of which i have seen before, The Smashing Pumpkins and Nine Inch Nails who i haven't seen. But i would have to go to the whole thing for that!
You have to give the smashing pumpkins credit the haven't done ANYTHING in years and they have managed to get a headlining date at a really popular festival!, even the Pixies couldn't do that! |

Isn't Reading always bad, or has been for the last 10 years or so?
What's the surprise? |

To be fair, there are loads more still to be announced. This is only the first wave. Who ever goes to see the headliners anyway?
out of those above I'd only really want to see Arcade Fire, The Gossip and Gogol Bordello.. but I wouldn't pay for a festival ticket or suffer the rest of the line-up to see them. All three are small/medium venue bands only for me. |

The line up 2 years ago was pretty good, Pixies, Dinosaur Jr, Stooges, Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters plus a few other decent ones.
Only day I'm remotely interested in is Sunday (would be Friday at Leeds) but it's a shit load of money to see 2 bands that I used to like a long time ago. The fact that Razorlight are headlining puts me off wanting to be anywhere near Leeds for that whole weekend, those fucking bastards. |
