Oh man. Count me among the jealous. I wish they'd show it at a few other places. I've seen Holy Mountain and Santa Sangre and liked them both a lot...I'm pretty desperate to see El Topo and pretty much any other Jodorowsky films I come across.

and i think el topo is the best film ever.. strangely, it was lennon's favorite too. |

Went to see Holy Mountain on Friday at afore-mentioned cinema. 'nother late night screening.. gotta say, I think I preffered El Topo.. it was slightly more subtle and cryptic.. Holy Mountain was a bit too ruthlessly absurd at times although still totally excelllent.. some of it brought to mind Monty Python tho..

I saw "El Topo" a few weeks ago at the National Film Theatre in London. It's still a great film, and it's also great that it finally has been re-issued to the world at large.
