Let's say you only like 5 songs on an album of 10. On side A, you like track 1 and 4, and on Side B you like track 6, 8, and 10. Would you keep the vinyl version or the CD version?
Do you judge the worth of an LP based on the amount of effort it takes to listen to the entirety of it or... half of it? |

sell both and dl it. no reason having something if you only like a few songs.

why buy an album on 2 formats if you don't even know whether you like it?

this is so wrong. some songs are more worthy than entire albums. on topic, with a cd skipping is easier.

An LP is infinitely more worthwhile keeping. CDs are disposable.

I'd keep the CD (my preferred format), and I don't yet have a record player anyway.

a vinyl is like a long slow steady building-to-balls-deep pounding throbbing fuck
a CD is like a quickie from the near-homeless lady wearing no shoes outside the stop N Go convenience store.

Yeah, if you love the album then fine, but the first post is about having an album on two formats that even if you don't really like that much over all. |

You misunderstood. My question was, if you had the vinyl or CD copy, which would you keep. |

why are you worried about keeping one or the other? keep them both and don't listen to one. chances are you won't get any more than $5 for it if you try and sell it.
