Don Dietrich stayed at my house for a night last year; he is a really nice guy with great taste, and a very good conversationalist as well. I felt bad because our fold-out sofa wasn't really proportioned very well for someone as tall as he is, but he didn't give us a hard time and I thank him for that. I have been a fan for many years and they have always delivered to goods live. I snapped this photo at the End Times festival this past summer:

I love this band, but I so very rarely listen to them. Unlike most noise, they are genuinely very, very annoying, in a good way, and manage to sustain it for a while. With most 'noise' bands, I can't be bothered after 5 minutes or so. Everyone should hear them at least once.

i like the way borbetomagus get listed as community service. i wonder how many of his clients have gone to see him play and if that has had any affect on their business dealings.
