You lucky lucky fella. It's long time since I've seen a proper Masada show, and I'd love to see them again.

Joey Baron is such a fantastic drummer.

Great lineup it seems, would love to see the masada shows especially...
Side note:
I always felt that Marc Ribot never got enough attention as a guitarist and composer.

Ribot is better as a sideman than as a solo musician - or at least that's what I think. His guitar playing on other peoples' recordings (especially Tom Waits) is faultless, but when I saw him play a solo show it just didn't hang together right.

I can see that point, but, have you ever heard any of his solo studio work?

That's a great looking line up. I though acoustic Masada was finished.

ALso, and a bit nearer to home - John Zorn's World - a four concert series - is at the Cité de la Musique, Paris in June.

Yep, the lineup is Marc Ribot,Roy Campbell, Henry Grimes, and Chad Taylor.

A well done rendetion and variation of Ayler compositions.
