I've been listening to this today and I think that maybe you should too:
Pink Reason's Kevin guest DJ's Soviet jams Tuesday, December 9th, 3pm - 6pm on Brian Turner's show Brian donating part of the show today to the sounds of subterranean rock/punk/psychedelic/folk music from the former Soviet Union. Guest DJ will be Kevin Failure from Pink Reason (and sometimes Psychedelic Horeshit), who spent some years living with his family in Siberia and soaking in the punk rock scene there. http://www.wfmu.org/playlists/shows/29583 There's some very good stuff in there and even the stuff that isn't very good is at least interesting. Read/listen some more here and here. |

From Pink Reason's FB page.
''Probably will not leave this up too long, but in light of yesterday's awful news of the tragic and unexpected passing of another friend and loved member of our extended family/underground music community I've thrown up a demo of a "new" Pink Reason song "Cemetery Blues." Songs like these I wish never had to be written in the first place.'' https://soundcloud.com/kevin-failure...wyMKAVblYv9qWM |
