Anyone remember a skit from SNL probably 2000-2002 sometime that was like a Dateline NBC story about kids getting hurt because they're imitating the Golden Girls? I've been trying to find a vid of that somewhere, but NBC is stingey with YouTube and I couldn't find it on Hulu. It was hilarious.

That was a great skit, making fun of the whole jackass stuff.
Does this thread have any relation to Bea Arthur having just died?

it does and it doesnt. My wife and I are huge GG fans. For years we've put the various seasons on everynight when we get in bed. They're sort of comforting to fall asleep to.
Anyway, I'm always telling her about this skit, and how funny it is. So with the recent death of Bea, it made me think of it again, and I really wanna find it for her to see.

I have a feeling that SNL employes full-time people to search youtube for their stuff.
everything gets taken down really fast. on-topic/off-topic: the SNL commercial featuring "Gift in a Box" disgusts me. it's fucking DICK in a box; not a gift ffs. |

I always saw this show growing up, but because of the whole Bea Arthur having just died thing, I decided to actually watch an episode the other day (ok, also the fact that I was at my mom's house and she has the worst cable package ever played a part).
The show is actually funny!

Hallmark Channel (yeah, that's an actual channel) had a GG marathon
yesterday. Shit was hysterics. One of the few sitcoms I watched as a young'un in the 80s that is actually still funny to watch today in reruns.
