I can only think of the Adventures of Pete & Pete.
And when it isn't quaint, its surreal. |

Does that qualify as a sitcom?

pete & pete- gold, but eh, not a sitcom.
the office, seinfeld, and arrested development- sitcoms. arrested development being the best.

I was thinking Seinfeld as a sitcom.
Pete and Pete just might be the best live-action scripted TV show ever. That's what I'm going to call it.

Well, I was thinking "classic" sitcom and I don't think it really fits that. Plus, I wasn't sure seeing that it was kind of pushed toward kids/tweens/teens and not the middle age demographic.
Great show, whatever you want to call it.

In the late 70's, there was a US sitcom called "Soap" that got played a lot on British TV. That were well good, for sure.

there was this show with molly shannon and jason schwartzman a few years back called "cracking up" that i really liked. don't remember how long it lasted, nor much of the plot, but the cast was great.

Yeah, Will & Grace was okay. But, I prefer Cheers & Frasier to W&G. James Burrows, Glen & Les Charles are great at what they do, to say the least. Quote:
Sorry you feel that way, but I love Seinfeld. & Curb Your Enthusiasm. 2 of my favorites.

hahaha did someone really say seinfeld was fucking terrible?
easily the best show ever. And I'm not even one of those diehard fans of it. acousticrock, correct me if I'm wrong, but are you the same person that said ocarina of time was a bad game?..... haha. I just don't see how anyone can find seinfeld FUCKING TERRIBLE. |

seinfeld was kind of my childhood. while i don't remember it, i have met the soup nazi and his family.
