Daydream Nation deluxe - studio vs live?

Now that the DDN deluxe is finally out in the UK, I can, at last, make a comment on it. And my comment is that I'm enjoying the live disc far more than the studio. I just love the rawness of it, the lack of polish.

How about you?

The copy I ordered from HMV landed on my doorstep this morning, and I've been listening to it all evening.

i'm still waiting for mine to arrive, amazon seems to have none left in stock so i ordered from HMV. I haven't heard this album yet, I've been waiting for the Deluxe Edition to be released before I hear it, so it's a brand new album for me

They're both equally good, I guess. I just bought DDN Delux.

ok i bought it today, and i just don't think you can beat the studio version of the DDN songs. The live version's are great, but not better.

i dont know if i will get it. i can imagine that i will like the live versions better than the studio ones but then again this was never one of my favourites.

Bought the deluxe edition today. Loved the live stuff, especially cross the breeze, totally trashed was amazing but still have to go with the studio version for old times sake!
