Yeah, from what I heard since it was a small clip as it is with 24 hours news. They will allow them to stay, on something called z visas, after it is expired they will have to go to their country and go to the U.S. consul in their perspective country, and they will become residents, I forgot I was reading it on the L.A. Times.
