I assume that Christmas counts as an EP and is therefore excluded? Because that's where my vote would go, for the sheer brilliance of Little Drummer Boy.

Yea, i should of included an 'Other' choice really. As well as the Christmas record, i'm sure people would have chosen 'A Lifetime of Temporary Relief' as well.

But as you mentioned, they aren't strictly albums.

I can't really choose a favourite album. But Low is by far my favourite band. I just can't stop listening to them. I did vote for TWLITF, since I saw them the first time live performing that album entirely about two years ago.
And I saw them again 4 times a couple of weeks ago, bought some recording gear especially for those shows. Check the Archive.org for live Low: http://www.archive.org/search.php?qu...rt=-publicdate I don't really like (the production of) Drums & Guns though, those songs are so much better live. newsflash: they will be opening for Wilco in the US in July, and then they will be back in Europe to play some festivals in August. www.chairkickers.com edit: see my current playlist , check them out on myspace if you've never heard of them. Surely hope Alan will bring them to Europe some time soon....

For me, it's either "Secret Name" or "Things we lost in the fire"... today I'll vote for "Things we lost in the fire", which I really love...
Then again, I have not listened to any of the first three records in a long time (i don't have them actually): the only thing I know is that the last time I listened to them, I was not so enamoured with them... |

I voted Things we lost in the fire because it's wonderful. But there is still a couple of their earlier albums I need to hear. I'm a bad Low fan.

Things We Lost... is pretty great but I think my favorite LOW recording is the In The Fishtank album w/ The Dirty 3. "Lordy Save My Soul..." is really great plus their cover of "Down By The River" has that great droney build up. Really fantastic piece.
