IODA announced the addition of five key new label

IODA – the global leader in digital distribution, marketing, and technology solutions for the independent music industry today announced the addition of five key new label clients to its rapidly expanding roster of digital distribution partners. ATO Records, Barnaby Records, Blind Pig Records, Ecstatic Peace, and KOCH Records will add thousands of tracks to IODA's catalog.

These important new signings are highlights from the dozens of new label clients that join IODA's roster each month. This growth has translated to the addition of over 40, 000 new encoded tracks to IODA's servers per month for the past six months, solidifying IODA's place as the world's fastest growing digital music distributor. IODA currently distributes its catalog of more than 700, 000 available tracks to more than 300 digital music retailers, subscription services and mobile platforms around the world.

According To Our Records (ATO Records) is a record label committed to artists and building their careers. Founded by Dave Matthews, manager Coran Capshaw, and two associates -- Michael McDonald and Chris Tetzeli -- ATO seeks out talented songwriters, musicians and performers for whom there is genuine passion and belief. Barnaby Records was founded by recording artist Andy Williams in 1963, after he purchased the Cadence Records catalog. In addition to holding the rights to tracks by legendary Cadence artists like Williams, the Everly Brothers, the Chordettes, Link Wray, Lenny Welch, Don Shirley and others, Barnaby Records' catalog also contains recordings from Ray Stevens, Paul Anka, Jimmy Buffett, the Crickets, Claudine Longet and others. Before the deal with IODA, Barnaby's catalog was out of print and not available in any format.

From its humble beginnings in the basement of an Ann Arbor, Michigan blues club in 1977, Blind Pig Records has grown into one of the premier blues labels in the world. It has released Blues, Roots Rock, Zydeco, Rhythm & Blues, and Soul Gospel albums by legendary and contemporary artists including Popa Chubby, Otis Rush, Tommy Castro, Bill Perry, Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, Albert Cummings, Jimmy Thackery, Deanna Bogart and others.

Ecstatic Peace was started in the early 80s by Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth. Its catalog includes releases by Be Your Own Pet, Pagoda, Black Helicopter, Dead Machines, Awesome Color, Jim O'Rourke, TAM, Tall Firs, Sonic Youth, the Coachmen and others.

KOCH Records proudly claims the largest number of Billboard charting albums among independents for each of the last five years (2001-2005) and is home to a diverse group of artists including Jim Jones, the Wiggles, Tall Paul, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Ryan Star, Oleta Adams, Public Enemy, Xzibit, Ringo Starr, Joan Baez, Michael Franks, Robert Earl Keen, Imani Winds and others.
