For those interested in alternative tunings, string gauges, types of amps, new guitars, picture of Lee’s guitars etc, there is a really interesting article/ interview with Lee (and a brief one with Nels Cline) in this month's Premier guitar. http://www.premierguitar.com/Magazin...do.aspx?Page=1

Cool interview and further insight including Nels. I wouldn't have guessed Lee playing a Jarell by the looks of it, but he is far more into experimenting with different types of guitars than alot of guitarists...
nice that he's reduced his effects "smorgasboard" i've wanted him to reduce for awhile now (i've reduced my rig as well) to get more of a feel for what he's doing technique-wise and the results are quite nice!

I was also confused about this and had to reread it and I'm still not understanding it as its written, I don't think Lee has worked with Kevin Drumm, at least not on any recording that I know of. Nels I think was just referencing other guitarists (Drumm being one) that he respects in an experimental sense.

hmmm... yes, I think that is what he must of meant. I also reread it thinking maybe Nels was referring to himself and people he's worked with, but that is not the case.
